How Trump’s Twitter Ban Teaches You To Earn Crypto While Surfing
Last Updated on 10 January 2021 by CryptoTips.eu
If there is one thing that the Twitter (and Facebook) ban of US President Donald Trump has reminded everyone around the world this weekend, then it is the incredible power that social media platforms have. Sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others now yield the same (or even greater) influence that the New York Times, CNN, Fox News, BBC and many other media companies have.
That same New York Times, realizing the transfer of power, claims that social media companies indirectly have the blood of the five people that died during the storming of the capitol this week, on their hands.
Ads as business model
The business model of social media companies goes like this: because of the time you spend on their sites, you are forced to see ads. Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are not free. You are being shown ads for which they get paid.
Breaking News: Facebook will block President Trump on its platforms, including Instagram, at least until the end of his term, Mark Zuckerberg said Thursday. https://t.co/709iNGiwXQ

Global companies that sell regular products, realize that less people are watching TV and more people surf the internet. They therefore pay Silicon Valley tech firms for these ads, which are forced down your throat whether you like it or not.
The number of ads on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and other sites will only increase as more and more people connect to the internet.
Remember that you are the product for these social media companies and not the other way around. Because of the fact that you give them your time they earn money. Perhaps it is becoming time that you can decide for yourself whether that money should go to Silicon Valley or to yourself.
How to earn crypto
We do realize at CryptoTips that as Bitcoin crosses the $40,000 mark, some people might think that the most famous cryptocurrency is now out of their reach, but nothing could be further from the truth.
Remember how social media companies work: they earn money because you watch ads. Smaller websites realize that by providing you with part of the money (in their case crypto) they can also get some revenue, even though they decide to split it with you.
We have grouped together various websites that allow you to earn Bitcoin in 2021 mostly by providing them with your time, so just like social media companies work, but in smaller amounts and more evenly distributed.
Given the current price tag of Bitcoin you will understand that (mostly) watching ads and videos on these sites will earn you some Satoshis but not necessarily Bitcoins, but it is of course a start. As soon as you pass a certain threshold you will be able to withdraw your crypto.
Beware that some of these sites, because of the fact that crypto is not yet regulated, come with quite aggressive ads that are asking you to install software on your computer. Do not do this because it comes with the risk of malware.
Any questions, please let us know in the comments.

How to earn crypto browsing
Another manner to earn crypto whilst surfing the internet is through the installment of the Brave Browser. In replacing your Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browser for the Brave one, you automatically can earn BAT tokens while browsing.
Brave Browser is being widely accepted and we believe because of its business model it is set to grow in the future.
Best of luck to everyone.
