One month after NBA team Dallas Mavericks (owned by billionaire Mark Cuban) jumped on the Dogecoin bandwagon and allowed its fans to purchase tickets using the famous memecoin, an European airline has followed suit.
A small one, we admit, but still. AirBaltic is the official carrier of Latvia, officially known as the Republic of Latvia, a country in the Baltic region of Northern Europe.
AirBaltic CEO Martin Gauss in fact added payment possibilities in Bitcoin Cash, Ether and Dogecoin, along with four USD pegged stablecoins like GUSD, USDC, PAX and BUSD.

He declared that:
As an innovative airline, we always strive to search for ways to improve the customer experience starting from the booking process.
Over the years around 1000 clients have used the payment option, which may not seem like a lot, but still offers passengers a unique payment option hard to find elsewhere.
Nearby Sweden knows it can’t stay behind for long of course.
April outlook for Doge?
Although the favorite cryptocurrency of Elon Musk started the year quite parabolic, it has mostly traded rather quietly in March.
Even though, the simple fact that Doge has not slipped back to the lower $0,001 region after all the hype at the beginning of the year and has maintained a price level of around $0,05 ever since, could also be seen as a sign of confidence by investors.
As such, the (possibly bullish) cup & handle pattern that Peter Brandt recognized around half of February still stands. If the coin decides to take direction, we’ll of course let you know.
