Following Reform’s historic victory in the local elections last week, all eyes in the United Kingdom are once again focused on Nigel Farage, who now stands a very good chance of becoming the country’s new Prime Minister.

About two weeks ago, I wrote that it was possible crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne had bought himself an election victory for the resounding price of five million pounds.
Last Thursday local elections were held in Scotland, England, and Wales, which resulted in a resounding (and even historic) victory for Reform, Nigel Farage’s new populist party.

The latter was already featured this weekend as the possible new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on the satirical program Saturday Night Live.
Deeply hidden within Reform’s election manifesto (which is primarily focused on immigration) are also several crypto plans for the country.
A Reform government would lower taxes on crypto income from 24% to 10%, and it would become much easier to set up new companies trading in digital currencies.
According to the Financial Times, Harborne therefore knew exactly what he was doing when he gave the donation to Farage in 2024. Farage decided 24 hours after receiving it to run in the elections after all.
His newest party has already won the local elections last week and if elections for the national parliament were to be held, Reform would normally become the largest party.
