Financial Times predicts ‘magnificent seven’ stocks and Bitcoin prices for 2025

Currently, there are many 2025 forecasters being published on the front pages of various crypto sites, but we thought the annual forecast round of the Financial Times, the oldest of European business newspapers, was especially important as they’ve been anti-crypto for a very long time and seem to have finally had a change of heart.
Their rules are as follows: the editors must answer 20 questions about politics and economics and the sum of their correct answers is made at the end of the year.
Amongst other things, the FT’s editorial board predicts peace in Ukraine, higher inflation for the global economy and a lot of debt for the new German government.
Peter Brandt
Although I am still convinced that we could start January with a crypto selloff (as I noted a few days ago and now veteran Peter Brandt also seems to admit), the signals for 2025 look mainly positive. Crypto investors expect a lot from the Trump administration in the United States and the Mica regulations in the European Union.
This is a head and shoulders top pattern. It might complete and take price to $78,000; it might fail with a thrust hire: or, it might morph into something else. But as it stands right now, it is a head and shoulders top and must be chartist dealt with for what it is. pic.twitter.com/b9AUUO7ddL

A sell-off during this multi-year bull run is always possible, but normally we will see Bitcoin go higher in the medium and long term.
Seven
When asked about her prediction for the ‘magnificent seven’ shares (Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla), Gillian Tett replied that they are unlikely to crash in 2025, but that a large price increase can also be virtually ruled out. She thinks that growth for tech stocks is in its final phase. We’ll see.
Will Bitcoin reach a price of $200,000? That was the question for journalist Nikou Asgari, the newer kid on the block who is in fact quite bullish about Bitcoin and crypto. She thinks such a price is indeed possible, and the fact that such a prediction makes it to the pages of the Financial Times shows that the press landscape has really changed in the past year. Let’s hope Nikou is right.
Happy New Year everyone.
