Crypto surges, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Toncoin and ZCash all start rallying

Crypto is riding a wave of positive news, and virtually all well-known digital coins are getting pulled up. Bitcoin was already trading at $81,000 on Tuesday afternoon, Dogecoin went up 10% in a week, Toncoin received positive news from Telegram, and ZCash is also looking upwards again.

Altcoins

Bitcoin is trading above $80k and looking higher again. Although I still expect a small test (below $80k) in the coming weeks, this is very positive news. Meanwhile, the more well-known altcoins are also riding the positive wave for digital currencies.

Dogecoin had been in the doldrums  for the last few months and didn’t have too many fans left. The 9-cent mark appears to be the bottom from which the largest memecoin can climb higher again. In the last week, Dogecoin rose by 10%.

Toncoin received positive news thanks to Telegram, the major social media platform where the coin can be traded. Pavel Durov, the CEO of Telegram, promised a new website for the coin and updated technical support. Toncoin, which managed to trade at just $8 in 2022-2023, immediately shot up 40% in the past two days alone.

ZCash, the privacy coin, is also rising rapidly again this week. Interest in privacy coins has been steadily increasing in recent years, and in 2025, ZCash had already recorded a gain of 500%. After a small pullback earlier this year, things are looking better for ZCash again, with a gain of 50% in the past week.
