Bitcoin starts climbing again towards the $61k level and its all time high of $61.5k seems to be in reach for the weekend.

The action restarted after US markets closed and analysts started talking about the upcoming Coinbase listing.

In the broader crypto market Ethereum is up 5%, trading at $2,170 and Binance Coin gains a whopping 15% to reach $480.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao celebrated by showing the difference in gains between Binance Coin and Bitcoin while writing: Beauty and the Beast.

Altcoins rally

As Bitcoin trades near its all-time-high again, several smaller altcoins are also trading upwards with double digits as well. Filecoin, which is highly popular among Chinese investors as of late, gained some 18%.

XRP seems to hold steady above $1 and is trading 17% higher than yesterday.

While VeChain, the small supply chain and product authenticity coin, trading firmly above $0,13, up 16%.

Both smaller cryptos thus continue their parabolic 2021 run.

Dogecoin steadily climbing

Almost closing out the top 20 of CoinMarketCap we find the public’s favorite crypto: Dogecoin. Although its gains are not that spectacular, it has to be noted that Dogecoin is now trading above the $0,06 level for a few days and has managed to hold on.

The times of spikes and drops seems over and the meme coin seems to have found support. Whether it will ever reach $1 is still everybody’s question but it does seem to have a future.
