Wall Street veteran expects a further fall for Bitcoin, a crash for XRP
Last Updated on 31 March 2025 by CryptoTips.eu
Given the recent trolling from XRP fans that he had to undergo, legendary Wall Street trader and chartist Peter Brandt started putting apology messages in front of his latest crypto predictions. Covering himself with a “don’t shoot the messenger”, you already know he expects things to get worse in the coming days and weeks. Brandt forecasts a drop to $65,000 for Bitcoin in the short term and fears a crash to $1 for XRP.
Bearish
Peter Brandt has been discussing stock charts since 1980 and has years of experience predicting and discussing Bitcoin’s price. He is a legend on Wall Street as he has written several books on stock trading and reading signals in charts.
When it comes to investing, he calculates everything like a true Bayesian, which means that he always gives a percentage preference as to why things will go well (bullish) or bad (bearish) in the short term.
Don't shoot the messenger.

With the S&P 500, pretty much the favorite index of every well-known American analyst, just going through a correction, Brandt quickly went through all the major investment vehicles he normally discusses and gave his short-term prediction.
As always, he indicated that both outcomes (bullish and bearish) are possible, but that he is making rather negative predictions for both the stock markets and crypto at the moment because there is a bigger percentage risk that things will go bad.
For Bitcoin, Brandt thinks a drop to as much as $65,000 is possible while XRP could go back all the way to $1.
Don't shoot the messenger.

Your favorite Beanie Baby/Pet Rock crypto displays a classic complex H&S top. This could become bullish if 3.0 is exceeded, otherwise the implications is a decline to 1.07. If you have an issue with this, take it up with Magee and Edwards $XRP pic.twitter.com/nHaIgn8uP4
We hope he is wrong of course, but Peter Brandt knows what he is talking about for four decades already, so… Proceed with caution everyone.
