The background during your Zoom meeting is in fact quite important. Although many of us are experiencing some sort of Zoom fatigue by now because of too many meetings, the great number of Zoom etiquette classes that have been launched since the start of the pandemic show the importance of knowing how to show up for this new type of gathering.

A plant, a work of art, it can all do wonders to focus the attention of the crowd on your square of all those that anyone else can choose from.

Twitter boss CEO Jack Dorsey showed up for a House Committee hearing this week to address the topic of misinformation on social media platforms.

Mr Dorsey was joined by Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Facebook CEO Marck Zuckerberg. Only problem for the US politicians was that all social media could talk about afterwards was the weird clock that Dorsey has in his background.

After a quick search, news on his own Twitter platform made clear that the device behind Dorsey was a Blockclock Mini.

As he answered questions from politicians, Dorsey himself seemed to confirm this by liking two tweets which linked to the device’s website.

The Blockclock costs $399 and was apparently made to celebrate Bitcoin’s ten-year anniversary and shows all kinds of information about Bitcoin and its blockchain. Not only the current Bitcoin price in different fiat currencies, but also which block is currently being mined, the blockchain fees and more.

We can only guess how many of these clocks the company has sold since it appeared behind Dorsey and went viral.

Just like Tesla boss Elon Musk, Jack Dorsey is a well-known crypto fan. His current Twitter bio reads #Bitcoin.
