Toncoin nears ATH and even Bitcoin rises – Bad news for XRP

A rather green Monday for the crypto market. Toncoin’s climb was expected and also predicted (by the launch of NOT later this week), but it was especially positive to see that even Bitcoin seems to be looking up again.

Peter Brandt, the well-known analyst, got into a fight with some fans of XRP on social media. Peter is rather bearish when it comes to the small cryptocurrency of Ripple Labs.

Toncoin ATH

This weekend we already talked about Toncoin, the cryptocurrency of the major social media app Telegram, and today we are forced to do so again due to a new climb. While all other major crypto coins from the CoinMarketCap top 10 have been struggling lately, Toncoin just keeps moving higher.

The ATH of $7.65 seems within reach. The enthusiasm for Toncoin is mainly due to the launch of NOT later this week on several major crypto platforms. That launch, scheduled for May 16th, will also make Toncoin itself more popular. Do note that profit taking by short-term investors is possible on the date of that launch. Be warned.

Peter Brandt versus XRParmy

Peter Brandt has been discussing stock market charts since 1980 and has been discussing Bitcoin’s chart for years already. He is a living Wall Street legend who has authored several books on stock market trading and on how to read signals in charts.

He is however very bearish about XRP this year (he used the term ‘going to zero’ regarding the BTC/XRP rate) and some fans of the coin, known as the XRParmy, were not happy with hist comments. Peter immediately reacted to the trolling in the comments and reconfirmed his prediction.

If XRP doesn’t move higher soon, it may have to give up its seventh place on the CoinMarketCap top 10 to, yes you guessed it, Toncoin.
