Reddit User: “My Wife Is Leaving Because Bitcoin”

The Covid-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc in the Western world, that much is clear. Governments will have to explain to their citizens in Europe and the US why in the next few years taxes will go up, birth rates will be down and divorce rates high.

The taxes is because someone has to pay for all that spending of these past few months in stimulus cheques, the birth rates down is because people are not in da mood when there’s a pandemic raging and the divorce rates is because relationships tend to suffer when people lose their jobs or are forced to work from home for longer periods. In fact, Covid has caused any bad marriage to break and any faulty relationship to go astray.

Funnily enough. As of late, it appears that owning crypto can have a similar effect on relationships as well.

Buying the dip

Earlier this week, we told you how a 23-year-old gamer in Australia had gotten the ultimate revenge on his girlfriend. He had decided to put all of his savings in Theta at $0,17, at which point she decided to leave. By now the man is a millionaire.

Bitcoin was the culprit for another man’s wife leaving him as well. Reddit user Parking Meater explained in a post which was upvoted 10,000 times in only a couple of days that his wife was leaving because Bitcoin.

The man noted that:

She just left to go stay at her sisters. She super mad that I didn’t sell at 60k and looks at the price often scolding me. I keep telling her we don’t need the money and have the cash. We live nice. However today she caught me buying the dip and was so pissed she almost hit me! Now she packed bags and went to her sisters to stay.

She said not to talk to her. This is where I need help, where is a good place to pick up girls in my Lambo?
