Nigel Farage woos crypto companies to become UK Prime Minister
Last Updated on 26 October 2025 by CryptoTips.eu
According to the latest polls in the United Kingdom, Nigel Farage’s Reform Party would win a national election if it were held today. Virtually every pollster agrees. Of course, since national elections aren’t held until 2029, Farage can’t really work with that. For the time being, he’s copying Donald Trump’s playbook and tries to win over the support of the crypto community.
Brexit
Nigel Farage rose to fame in 2016 when, along with the future British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, he became the face of “Brexit,” the British attempt to break away from the European Union. In the years that followed, he faded somewhat, but has since made a full comeback with his Reform Party, which leads almost all political polls now.

It doesn’t matter about your political views.
It’s clear that this man is the only person that will help the crypto industry in the UK.
As someone that’s been debanked.. he understands the need for self custody.

Like Donald Trump, Farage has become very crypto-friendly. He is currently the only national political leader in the UK who has made his stance on cryptocurrencies clear. He has promised to introduce a bill to reduce capital gains tax on crypto assets from 24% to 10%, a move likely to convince a portion of London’s richer population. His Reform Party also became the first in the UK to accept donations in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
Tether
Many wonder whether the traditional political parties, Labour and the Conservatives, will soon copy his stance on crypto; in a country still known for being anti-crypto. That would be a major shift of course.
What this Guardian Farage puff piece doesn't tell you is that he's shilling for his major donor Harborne, who owns tether 🚩🚩

However, according to research by The Guardian, Farage’s crypto views are being strongly influenced by Christopher Harborne, a major shareholder in Tether, the world’s largest stablecoin.
