As Bitcoin fell back to $31k and markets calmed before the weekend, two Bitcoin influencers decided it was time for a conversation. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Tesla CEO Elon Musk had one of the weirdest conversations ever on social media to finally agree that they would both discuss the future of Bitcoin in July during the B word.

It all started when Musk responded to a tweet from Dorsey promoting the event which wants more companies and institutional investors to adopt Bitcoin. Dorsey has been a longtime fan of Bitcoin.

Musk, referring to the B in Dorsey’s tweet, responded Bitcurious?

Twitter’s Dorsey then came back with:

Bizarre! Let’s you and I have a conversation at the event. You can share all your curiosities…

Elon Musk agreed to show up and the cryptosphere is now eagerly awaiting what the two will have to say. Has the Tesla CEO changed his mind on Bitcoin and will his company buy more Bitcoin? The B-word is set to take place on 21 July.

Tether emoji

Whereas most of the cryptosphere expected Ethereum to be the next cryptocoin to get its own icon on Twitter, it turns out that it this honor was reserved for Tether.

As a large part of all trades are done with this stablecoin, it is not too surprising, but still, we also expected something else. Good to see that adoption and knowledge it still spreading though.
