So, I’ve been covering crypto for over a year now with almost daily articles and must admit this is a never seen before.

Bitcoin is holding steady around $62k, Ether keeps breaking new all-time-highs (reached $2,500 overnight) on an almost daily basis and Dogecoin has simply doubled overnight, now worth 25 cents.

What a time for crypto.

Jim Cramer Sells

Mad Money host Jim Cramer bought Bitcoin when it was at around $12k last year and has now sold half of his holdings at the $60k price range.

Going on CNBC he admitted that the winnings so far were enough to pay for his mortgage. Cramer stated:

I know people are going to be angry with me, but I paid off a mortgage yesterday with it.

It was like, kind of, phoney money paying for real money. I now own a house — lock, stock, and barrel — because I bought this currency. I think I won!

Famous crypto astrologist Maren Altman waded in on the story as well, saying:

The irony of this is that with today’s interest rates, it’s like the mortgage is the asset while the house is the liability. And you may have just used a future world reserve currency to eliminate that asset

Dogecoin doubles overnight

The real story of the night though was still Dogecoin, which at morning European time has simply doubled overnight to a value of now 25 cents. Elon Musk of course waded in as well, showing a meme of a Doge barking at the moon.

It was the number one trending topic in the US on twitter at a certain point and people are urging all HODLers to take it up further.

As we said yesterday, don’t count out it ever reaching a full dollar.
