Technical analyst Peter Brandt has turned his eye to both Bitcoin and Dogecoin as of late. As to the most famous cryptocurrency, Brandt admitted that he had a large holding in it given that he sees a very large upside possibility.

As to Dogecoin, Brandt, claimed a few weeks ago that he noticed a cup and hold pattern, which would end in a breakout. Just yesterday, Dogecoin did indeed start getting some upswing again, after being stuck in the same pattern for weeks on end.

Brandt has been trading since the 1970s and authored multiple books on trading and the profession of technical analysis. For many in the City of London (the financial heart of Europe to some), his book Diary of a professional commodity trader is considered a bible as to how to read charts.

Texas reopens

The man hasn’t disclosed whether or not he is holding Dogecoin but ever since he made his chart knowledgeable on 15 February, Dogecoin enthusiasts have been looking whether or not he’s right.

The Shiba Inu represented cryptocurrency has seen some good news as of late, which could also account for the recent positive DOGE price movement of course.

Last week NBA team Dallas Mavericks, owned by Shark Tank star Mark Cuban (who’s been hyped on crypto as of late, ranging from his Bitcoin investment, AAVE staking and Dogecoin payments) allowed the memecoin as payment for its tickets just as Texas was declared 100% open by governor Gregg Abbott.

Furthermore, the Dallas Mavericks deal is part of an agreement with crypto payment services provider BitPay, which could, if successful, offer it to other sports venues as well.

Lastly, it became known that ATM provider CoinFlip said people could now buy DOGE directly on any of their 1,800-machines around the world.

All this led Tesla CEO Elon Musk to say over the weekend that Doge spelled backwards is Egod.

Who knows, in the end he might be right.
