Although we have to give the price for the ultimate Bitcoin recommendation of 2020 to Edward Snowden, who famously called the Bitcoin bottom on 13 March 2020 at around $4,000, some celebrities have asked their fans for advice on the most famous cryptocurrency at fabulous moments apparently.

One of them was popular Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams who on 17 November 2020 asked in a poll to her 2.7 million followers on Twitter whether or not she should buy Bitcoin.

Arya Stark

Williams, who played the role of Arya Stark in the worldwide smash hit Game of Thrones, ignited Crypto Twitter at that moment. Even Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, felt he needed to wade in.

Although the advice was slightly in favor of not buying Bitcoin (46 percent said yes versus 53 percent who said no), which at that moment was trading around $15,000, Maisie herself responded to the poll the next day with:

Thank you for the advice, I bought some anyway.

Almost two months later and the Bitcoin that Maisie bought at $15,000 has more than doubled in value, leading some commentators to congratulate her as of late for the awesome buy.

Although there is growing concern that Bitcoin might retrench before growing again, and it has dropped back down in the mid-thirties after growing to $40,000, we would be surprised to see it drop down back to that level.

No one knows how much Bitcoin she bought or how much profit she made, but that sure seems like an awesome trade to us as well, or as any member of the Stark family would say in the hit series:

I am a wolf and will not be afraid.
