Bitcoin is trading near $40k for the second day in a row and the massive uptick which started last Monday seems to have chilled a bit. Analysts expect sellers to have put in a hard stop at this level and they are apparently eager to take profits rather than to start a new leg up. If this Bitcoin value remains, Bitcoin would end July on a positive note

Analysts from QCP Capital explained:

Our sense is that the market will keep looking to trade within this $30K-$40K range in the near term. Into Friday’s month-end expiry, we expect $40K-$42K to hold as the open interest peaks here.

Stoner Cats

Axie Infinity first extended the NFT (Non Fungible Token) universe with combining it with gaming and now actor Ashton Kutcher has taken it to a whole new level. Together with his wife (and actress) Mila Kunis, he voices one of the cats on the NFT show Stoner Cats. Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, is also chipping in.

The Stoner Cats show is what the actor couple calls “a new model for watching a cartoon TV show about a group of weed smoking felines”.

The celebrities explained that:

At Stoner Cats, we believe that storytellers deserve an outlet where they can be valued and supported without having to bow to the machine of big media.

So we’re tilting the model on its head and testing a new architecture using NFTs that can connect storytellers directly with their audience and essentially decentralize content production.

Other famous stars that will voice cat characters include Chris Rock and Jane Fonda. Even Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin was willing to lend a hand.

The fans thought it was too funny to be true, and the NFT offering for the cats sold out in minutes after it was launched.
