After a brief dip earlier this week (which seemed to offer support around $114,000), Bitcoin surged higher again, remaining around $120,000 at the time of writing.
The latest internet phenomenon, the Astronomer CEO Andy Byron affair, better known as “Coldplaygate,” was immediately rebranded as a very popular meme coin.

The largest cryptocurrency has been hovering around the $120,000 level for a week and appears to be preparing for another jump. Currently, the broad support between $105,000 and $115,000 is holding up very well.

If you go to a concert or sporting event in the United States, there’s always the chance you’ll end up on a kisscam. That was the case this week for Andy Byron, CEO of tech company Astronomer. He and his date Kristin Cabot unsuspectingly attended a concert by the global band Coldplay at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts. However, when the kisscam landed on Bryon and Cabot, they quickly turned around. The two aren’t husband and wife, but CEO and Human Resources chief of the same company.
“Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just really shy,” Coldplay singer Chris Martin commented as the couple turned their heads away from the camera.
Given the numerous searches for “Coldplaygate” and “Byron”, a whole bunch of new memecoins were launched last night. Whether they’ll still be as valuable next week as they were last night is anyone’s guess though.
