Bitcoin hits new ATH, surpasses Amazon, and analyst makes prediction
Last Updated on 11 July 2025 by CryptoTips.eu
Bitcoin continues to surprise. The world’s largest cryptocurrency is breaking records once again and climbing even higher. The price is currently around $117,784, placing Bitcoin firmly among the top five most valuable assets. And the rally might be far from over.
Bitcoin surges to new all-time high
With a 6.26% increase in the past 24 hours and a trading volume of a whopping $122 billion, Bitcoin blasts through key price zones. Earlier today, it even reached a new all-time high of $118,667, according to the latest data.
Thanks to this impressive rally, Bitcoin is now the fifth largest asset in the world, once again overtaking Amazon. Only gold, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Apple remain ahead in the rankings.
Dollar loses significant ground to Bitcoin
Anyone who chose dollars over Bitcoin in 2025 is likely regretting it. Bitcoin has gained 24% this year, while the US dollar has lost 14% of its value. The difference in purchasing power between the two has now reached 38%.
Analysts clearly see a trend. Bitcoin is increasingly seen as a safe haven, while fiat currencies like the dollar continue to lose ground.
Analyst predicts further rise
Well-known analyst Michaël van de Poppe shares his expectations for the coming months on X:
Massive move upwards on the markets, as #Bitcoin broke out of the range.

Probably going to stall for a little before we'll continue.

He expects a short pause after this sharp breakout but predicts a continuation toward new highs afterward. His targets are clear: $125,000 this month, $150,000 in the third quarter, and possibly even $250,000 by the end of the year.
The technical charts confirm the bullish momentum. After breaking the key zone around $110,545, an explosive rally toward new records followed. The coming days will be crucial to see if Bitcoin can maintain this trend.
